    SMS Opt-In Process

    KAT Roofing Co. uses SMS text messaging to communicate with homeowners and property managers about their roofing inquiries and projects. SMS opt-in is a separate, optional choice on every form on our website — it is never required to request a quote or receive service.

    You fill out our "Request a Quote" form at katroofingco.com/contact with your name, phone number, email, and property address.

    Two Separate Consent Checkboxes

    Our form presents two separate, unchecked checkboxes. The first (required) is general contact consent. The second (optional) is SMS consent. The SMS box is never pre-checked and is never bundled with the contact consent.

    Required contact consent checkbox (verbatim):

    "* I agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and I consent to be contacted by KAT Roofing Co. by phone or email about my roofing inquiry."

    Optional SMS opt-in checkbox (verbatim):

    "(Optional) Yes, KAT Roofing Co. may also text me (SMS) about my project — quote confirmations, appointment reminders, and project updates. Approx. 2–5 messages per inquiry. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Your consent is not a condition of purchase."

    Consent Recorded

    Upon submission, your SMS opt-in status (true or false), the timestamp, and the IP address are recorded in our secure database as proof of consent. Only submissions where the SMS box was explicitly checked will receive text messages.

    Quote confirmation

    KAT Roofing Co: Hi John, thanks for your quote request for 123 Main St. A licensed estimator will reach out within one business day. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

    Appointment reminder

    KAT Roofing Co: Reminder — your roof inspection is scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 AM. Call (888) 389-4168 if you need to reschedule. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

    Project update

    KAT Roofing Co: Your silicone coating installation is complete and passed final inspection. Warranty documents will be emailed within 24 hours. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

    Types of Messages You May Receive

    By opting in, you consent to receive the following types of text messages related to your roofing project:

    • Confirmation of your quote request or inquiry
    • Appointment scheduling and reminders
    • Updates on your roofing project status
    • Inspection scheduling notifications
    • Follow-up communications about your service
    • Important service-related announcements

    We do not send marketing, promotional, advertising, or third-party messages over SMS. All messages relate directly to your inquiry or active project with KAT Roofing Co.

    No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data

    We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties for their marketing purposes. Your SMS opt-in data — including your phone number and consent — will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.

    Age Requirement

    You must be at least 18 years of age to opt in to SMS messages from KAT Roofing Co. By checking the SMS opt-in box, you confirm you are 18 or older.

    Not a Condition of Purchase

    Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from KAT Roofing Co. You may decline SMS and still receive a quote and full service.

    How to Opt Out

    You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time, at no cost, using any of these methods:

    Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us to immediately unsubscribe from future SMS communications. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts.

    Call Us
